The Timemaker. For him time has stopped yet if he doesn't continue his craft what is there left. So he toils away ever making time for others.
Deviant Survivor Challenge Nine: Ryhmes [link] . We had to use four but I may have done more. (oh look a rhyme:giggle).
Okay so the first and most obvious clock. There are a few of them to choose from.
The timemaker is wearing an incredibly manly smock.
That strange pot of flowers in the right hand corner is the deathly poisoness Hemlock.
There's a sturdy lock on the door above his head.
That squiggly blue thing by his left hand is a baby's blue sock.
And there's a rock weighing down a stack of papers on the left.
The really interesting thing is if you combine all the rhyming things a tragic story begins to emerge.
Except the rock. The rock is useless for anything other then weighing down paper. 
P.s. Hallelujah my scanner gave me no grieve this time. Thank god for small miracles
P.p.s. Interesting little fact about me. I can't tell analog time. Go figure.

I really agree with the others that have already said about how good the frame looks. Very fitting. 
And I adooore the detailed object-filled background. I couldn't spot any of the rhymes except clock and sock before I read your description... 
The paper gives it a cool texture.
